Day Five

By day five, you usually get used to the whole school routine just like every other school year. So by now you're probably thinking that this blog will get a little boring. No it won't. I'l just tell you about my day. And if you know me, my days are NEVER boring. So for starters, in first hour we presented our music cd's for an assignment called, "I've got the Music in Me". So I played "Instant Karma!" by John Lennon. Then in second hour we just took notes (okay so THAT was boring), then in third hour we did math BUT we got to read a really cool book called "Maximum(?) Ride" which is a pretty interesting story. And finally in fourth hour we watched the rest of "Lorenzo's Oil" and did measurements..... Hopefully tomorrow will be more interesting. Keep reading and you'll find out more about the weird adventures of....High school.

Day Four

Well I started school on a Tuesday, so this Friday marks the end of....(drum roll) THE FIRST WEEK OF HIGH SCHOOL!!!! And if you've stuck to this blog the entire time you should've survived (if you didn't, that's your problem not mine. Na I'm just kidding. I feel for you I really do.) Anyway, Since yesterday, in Science, we have been watching a movie called, "Lorenzo's Oil". It's so sad. But I'll let you watch it to keep this blog remaining on the bright side of life. After the first week, your homework will no doubt begin POURING IN! But don't worry, it'll all be easy... and sometimes your teachers won't even LIKE to give homework, so your chances of it are slim. And then you'll get to the part where (in science, of course) things will start going....... BOOOOM!(Well hopefully, becuase I've always wanted to conduct a science experiment that blows up. But not to blow up anything. Just a little explosion. Not enough to hurt anyone or anything.)But other than that school ill always remain the same. Each yeaar will more than likely be just as (if not more) boring as the last. Keep reading this blog though and I promise you I'll try to make it a little more interesting. Keep reading and I'll keep you posted so you'll stay on the sunny side of the long and winding road of.... High school.

Day Three

Now on the third day, (and by the way I hope you're reading these one day at a time)you usually get your first algebra one homework assignment (yes I know what you're thinking, Yay! NOT!) but you do most of it in class and usually they're not that hard (courtesy of our "simple-minded" friends). But don't get me wrong it'l get a little harder, but that's okay because it'll gradually get harder. They're not gonna start by giving you a mathematical equation ( e.g.2+7(8-9)+X=?) and expect you to be able to solve it. No, of course they won't. They'll give you a larger one! Na I'm just messing with you. Other than that it's all okay. Oh, and you get your lockers too, so you don't have to carry al your junk around and dislocate your shoulder. Anyway, I'm signing off so if you stick with me I'll help get you throuh the crazy messed up world we call.... High school.

Day Two

Your second day of high school usually isn't that bad. If you're normal, you'll more than likely remember where all your classes are at. And the cool part is you usually end up getting your lockers within the first week. But watch out for your principal(or at least mine 'cause he doesn't seem very nice. I know, I know never judge a book by it's cover. But his son was a student teacher in one of my classes last year and NOBODY liked him, spare the strange people.) And usually (unless you go to school in Texas)you start doing school work the second day (from my experiences Texas doesn't get with it 'til about a month!). Like today in science for instence, we did our first science experiment (no nothing went BOOM, unfortunatley). But it was cool (still not sure EXACTLY what we did, but still cool). And in history they teach you how to read maps a little bit so you know where all the important places in your state are. Oh, and make sure you keep in touch with your councilors 'cause they're ALWAYS cool (and I guess the principal is too, but he's got a little temper (!) ). Like I said yesterday, just keep reading this and I'll talk you through the amazing journey we all call..... High school.

Day One

Today was my first day of highschool, freshman year. To be honest with you, it's not all it's cracked up to be. Sure your mom will cry and say, "Oh my little baby is growing up so fast! It seems only yesterday your dad and I were potty training you!" and gets her tears all over your brand new outfit (not that that actually happened TO ME, but still, maybe someone else). So you walk in those doors and you're nervous and about to start crying and you can't find your classes because you didn't take the time to go to open house (again, this DID NOT happen to me!) and a teacher asks you where you need to go. You tell her you need to find (place teacher's name here)'s room. They tell you where to go and you walk in contimplating which seat to sit in. You've already ruled out the front and back rows because 1.) you don'twant everyone looking at you, and 2.) you can't hear very well. That leaves the middle. In one seat there's a kid that can't stop sneezing, and in another, a kid who smells like a sewer. You go for the middle. Good choice. Except that's the seat that the teacher walks by the most so you can't text or use a calculator during your assignments. But trust me, if your first day is ANYTHING like mine it'll be a great year. Just keep reading this guide and I'll help you through your Freshman year of..... High school.
